Changes to A Better Way of Business… Part 2

In the previous video I told you that I discovered that the message I’m putting out through the content of my blog differs from the message I’m putting out when someone speaks to me.

Here’s how I’m planning on reconciling the two:

Now you know I’ve given the two messages names:

A Life Not Wasted – the message put out through my blog content

A Better Way of Business – the message of focusing on small businesses

I thought about creating two businesses around these two ideas but didn’t want to go the two business route.

Instead, through talking through this with Skye and my friend Kai, we figured out how to combine both messages into one business!

    B+ for talking slower. :) However, I like it when you are yourself, and this is when you speed up and slow your speech while you are talking. I have been meaning to tell you, I am listening to your radio shows with Kevin Gainey @ Free Agent Tool Box ( http://www.freeagenttoolbox.com/ ) and you speak incredibly clearly on the show! It is very easy for me to understand you and hear your words.

    Another side note: I like how you use the term “reconcile” when when you speak of the two branches of business – mostly because it reflects your accounting background! :)

      HA! You know this and part 3 of the change videos are actually one recording that I split into two. And by speaking slower, when I got finished, I was like, “That was a great 5 minute video!”

      Then I noticed it was almost 12 minutes in total length!!!

      Yeah… Whittled it down and cut it in two!

      Talking slower is hard, but I don’t like it when I got so worked up you can hear me gasping for breath, hence the need / desire to slow it down.

      And it’s hard to hide the accountant in me!
